An artist, maker and collector all of my life, I’ve turned my attention to the craft of knife making. I’ve always had an affinity for self reliance. Growing up in Montana, it’s ingrained in you. People couldn’t always run to a store or go online, they had to come up with ways to fend for themselves. Ingenuity and creative solutions can breed wonderful new things and I’m inspired by how these concepts breathe new life into old things.
I’ve always loved food and cooking. How it can connect people to cultures, to moments, to family. I grew up learning to cook from my parents who ran a restaurant. They made everything from scratch. I focus mostly on culinary blades because I love to use them. ‘Tools Not Weapons’ is a Diligent moto. I strive to make the best tools for kitchen and carry.
